Programs for Fellowship
Prayer
St. James’ Church humbly depends on God for its life and ministry. In addition to Sunday worship, we have prayer groups that meet in fellowship to answer the need for prayer for the church, its members and family, and the community.
Discipleship
We believe people grow in Christ most effectively when they are active in three areas: individual devotion, congregational worship and small-group fellowship. We offer small groups for learning, sharing and doing ministry.
Sunday School for Children
Every Sunday from September through June we offer Sunday school classes during worship for children ages 5-12.
Music
Music at St. James’ Church is both contemporary and traditional. If you play an instrument or sing, there are numerous opportunities to share your gifts.
Events
- Fellowship Coffee Hour after Sunday Service
- Annual Neighborhood Picnic and Music Festival
- Thanksgiving Dinner Gathering
- New Year’s Eve Dinner and Prayer
Community
Our Church offers our Parish House for use by community groups and outreach programs.
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
Through support group meetings held weekly at the Church this extended care program for early recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism helps bridge the gap between primary treatment and independent living.
YoungLife
Through interactive club meetings held weekly at the church this worldwide, nondenominational, youth ministry reaches out and engages adolescents and teenagers from the community with music and activities in a Christian faith-based environment.
